House Art was born during a time when home truly became our world—the COVID lockdown. Like so many, we found ourselves spending more time at home and realized how much we were missing beautiful, quality tableware. Weekends were once filled with dining out, but suddenly, we were at home, surrounded by the same essentials—and something felt incomplete.

That’s when the idea struck us. As sisters, we realized that finding high-quality, affordable tableware that truly represented our style was harder than we thought. So, we decided to bring these missing pieces to the Swiss market ourselves.

The Sisters Behind House Art

We’re Menatalla and Amal El Nasharty—two sisters, just a few years apart, who have been best friends for as long as we can remember. Growing up, we shared everything—our dreams, our passions, and an unshakable bond. We’ve always loved the same things and always knew that one day, we would create something meaningful together.

Starting House Art was more than just a business decision for us—it was the fulfillment of a shared dream, one we had been nurturing for years.
